Hi! I'm Sam, and I have a master's degree in physics, and I also graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in physics and math. My research has been in computational physics, where I've used Python programming to model neutrino detection events and optimize simulations of supernovae and other astrophysical phenomena.

When it comes to education, I have two years of work experience tutoring college math courses ranging from pre-calculus to differential equations and real analysis. This job also gave me formal training on methods of communicating information effectively and ways of adapting to a variety learning styles and challenges. Beyond that, I also spent a semester as a teaching assistant for a classical mechanics course at the third-year undergraduate level, as well as one and a half years of both creating and editing physics assessment questions at the high school level after that. As such, I have an extensive background in not just tutoring, but in several different stages of the education process as well, granting me a unique perspective that informs my approach to tutoring.
