Physics and Math Tutor

I received a B.S. in Mathematical Physics from SUNY Binghamton and a M.S. in Physics from The City College of New York CUNY. My path, however, started at Tompkins-Cortland Community College. I tutored there during my final two semesters. I did both one-on-one and group instruction for all levels of math though primarily Calculus 1. I also tutored Physics and Chemistry one-on-one. This also lead me to tutor with CNY Tutoring Llc for two years.

I have since been adjuncting at community colleges in the area as well as SUNY Cortland. This past spring '26 semester I was the full-time leave replacement professor at SUNY Onondaga. I found my time tutoring to be the most fulfilling thing I've done. My approach is always different depending on the student and their needs. I do like to make sure the students have a solid foundation so they can break down any problem into it's basic ideas and components.

I have had extensive math training through the Mathematical Physics program at SUNY Binghamton. Calculus 1, 2, and 3, Linear Algebra, and Ordinary Differential Equations are the high level courses I have tutored. I have also privately tutored High School Algebra 2. I have lectured both calculus and algebra based introductory physics courses as well as instructed physics laboratory. With the math department I have taught pre-calculus and with the engineering department I have taught an electrical science class.

Aside from having a M.S. in Physics, I have privately tutored introductory college Physics courses for three students. I have done some independent research in Condensed Matter Physics and on 5D zero-branes.
