Teacher for seven years in K-6 Elementary

Hello All,
My name is Molly and I have seven years experience teaching in K-6 Elementary. I have taught CCSS in math, reading, ELA, history, and science. I have also privately tutored students as well. I love teaching each of the subjects but my favorite subjects to teach are math and history. I love being able to tutor because I like being able to work with students 1:1 and see how they progress with each tutoring session.

I was a math lead teacher for the entire grade of 90 third grade students for two years. I was responsible for each child's math goals and how they were progressing throughout the year. I was also responsible for making lesson plans to help with students who needed extra support.

I have been teaching for seven years and in each of the years I have been responsible for students improving their writing skills. Writing skills I have been teaching include; sentence formation, short story writing, non-fiction research and writing projects, biography writing, and how to write a five paragraph essay.

In one of my years of teaching I was the Social Studies teacher for the entire fifth grade. I was responsible for 75 students growth in learning Social Studies CCSS, teaching them how to write essays, and how to read/ compare and contrast primary and secondary documents.
