I graduated from Summa Cum Laude from Stony Brook University, majoring in Health Sciences on a pre-dental track. I have experience tutoring college students in general chemistry and organic chemistry. I am also a former teaching assistant for molecular biology, organic chemistry, and anatomy. I am CRLA Level 1 Certified, and many of my students come out of my sessions with better grounding on subjects that are hard to grasp.
I like to approach tutoring by breaking down problems into smaller, manageable steps that are easier to understand, and build up to a comprehensive understanding of the whole problem. I love using visual aids and real-life analogies to ground a complicated concept to something easily understandable.
