Hi, my name is Andrew and I'm a recent graduate of a top liberal arts college looking to do a little tutoring before continuing on to graduate school. In college I was a History and English double major and graduated with distinction while participating in a number of extracurricular activities.
For three years in college, I was a tutor at the college's Writing Center. During this time, I gained experience proofreading assignments for courses in a variety of subjects, particularly those in the social sciences and humanities and teaching college-level composition skills.
Prior to matriculating to college, I worked for several years tutoring adult refugees in English. I believe that my teaching experience, in addition to my education from a top-tier college, will make me an excellent tutor for students looking for a little extra help in English, History or any other subject in the social sciences or humanities.
