Patient, Determined, and Skilled For Tutoring All Subjects

Ali S.

Hello everyone,

Are you or your child having trouble at school? Is your class too easy? Well look no further, I can provide you with an amazing one on one tutoring experience that will help you achieve your goals.

My name is Ali , I am currently attending Kennesaw State University. I work at a learning center called Kumon. I have four plus years of hands-on experience with kids and adults that are having trouble in math and English at Kumon. From Kumon I have noticed that everyone is different, thus everyone learns differently as well.

1) On our first session I will mostly likely ask the student to take a "placement" test, this is for me to know where you/your child make thier most common mistakes and also how the student works/learns.

2) After the first session, both the student and I will have a better understanding of each other. This will help the student feel comfortable and relaxed. I personally feel the less stress a student has, the easier for them to learn and understand.

3) In the beginning of each session I will ask the student to take a quiz, this is to make sure they understand and reviewed the previous session. I usually recommend my students to meet twice a week, so they retain the information and stays fresh in their minds.

4) After a quiz, I will tutor the student for the remaining time.

This is basically how I tutor my students. I have had success with my former students with this method, however if there is something you would like to change please don't hesitate to ask! I am looking forward to working with you.

Thank you,

Ali
