I am Vincent. I have an MA degree in Economics from the University at Albany and a BA in Economics from SUNY Oneonta, where I graduated magna cum laude. I obtained my IRS EA designation in 2017. My actual teaching experience began as a one-on-one tutor at Broome Community College teaching college statistics and algebra. While at my career job at NYS Industries for the Disabled, I regularly taught classes in MS Excel to fellow employees to boost their job skills. More recently, I taught basic and advanced income tax classes at H&R Block. The students in the basic classes were prospective tax preparers, and the students in the advanced classes were current H&R Block tax professionals. Currently, I provide tutoring services to those who are taking the three-part EA examination series.
My teaching style is SPECIFICALLY TAILORED to each individual person (for any of the three exam parts). I help students identify and work through any ‘pain points’ they may have. Three things I strongly focus on are: 1) devising a structured study plan/strategy, 2) using my ‘practice-first’ study method, and 3) working repetitively on real EA practice examinations.
I am easy to reach and try my best to respond quickly. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule an initial lesson.
