I’m deeply passionate about helping students and professionals gain confidence in accounting and Excel, and ultimately, in themselves. My journey began at Ohio State, where I earned a Finance degree and started tutoring peers. I quickly found I had a knack for breaking down complex accounting principles and Excel functions into simple, practical steps. At first, I approached tutoring a bit formally, especially with classmates, but I soon realized that being approachable and encouraging made a world of difference. That mindset has been especially powerful for learners who’ve struggled with traditional teaching or felt overwhelmed.

I view accounting and Excel not just as subjects, but as essential tools for solving problems and advancing careers. Over the years, I’ve helped learners master everything from bookkeeping and financial statements to pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced data analysis. Many come to me confused and anxious, but leave with clarity and confidence, whether they’re tackling coursework, CPA exams, QuickBooks, or new responsibilities at work.

Before tutoring full-time, I spent several years in tax accounting at a nationally recognized firm. I’ve worked with students from age 16 to 40+, in both small group and one-on-one settings. While I’ve enjoyed group sessions, I find that personalized 1:1 tutoring consistently delivers the best results. I’ve supported high school students, undergraduates, and working professionals alike, each with unique goals and learning styles.
