I have tutored students through out my graduate studies, trained many technicians when I was in industry and taught many students during by community college teaching. I am convinced with a little help and an open mind anyone can learn the basics of chemistry.
I have experience at the PhD level at the University of Hawaii. And I have 25 years in the industry and eight years of teaching experience at the community college level. I never meet a student who had to learn chemistry or wanted to learn chemistry that I have not been able to help.
