My love of tutoring comes directly from my love of learning and the pursuit of knowledge. I have earned two bachelors degrees one of which is a BS in Biology, and I am currently on my way to pursuing a Masters degree in Education to begin working as a Mathematics teacher. I am employed as professional tutor with a highly respected tutoring firm. Through this position, I have had the pleasure of helping many students grasp new concepts in science and math, and have witnessed first hand the dramatic improvement in their grades, test scores, and overall academic confidence.

I specialize in tutoring natural sciences and math. I have expertise in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Ecology, Genetics, and Botany. I also have vast amounts of experience tutoring SAT, ACT and GRE math prep, as well as general math involving Algebra, Geometry and Calculus.

I personalize each session to the students specific needs and try to diagnose where the problem is and correct the deficient area. I believe tutoring should be an enjoyable practice and I always try to bring the material to life through the use of relatable real-world examples, and through graphic and video representation. I always assign homework for the student in an attempt to maximize productivity during the sessions themselves.
