Like the educators I enjoyed learning from, I strive to make the learning process enjoyable because students are more likely to learn and retain the information if they are enjoying the lesson and the content.
Although I have not formally tutored previously, I spend extensive time supporting my students outside of the class periods. I was utilized in my role as a teacher's assistant, prior to becoming a certified teacher, to help students struggling with the learning process as well. I have experience with students of multiple learning abilities and styles.
