All throughout high school and college I've been asked to assist others with their papers. Whether it be a research paper or a fictional short story, I've been more than happy to help. I don't do it for the sense of joy I feel when they reach their writing goal but the thrill when they see in themselves that they too can write. It's like a whole new world has opened up to them. It's simply magical.

It is my hope that I can continue to share what I know with others who can benefit to the wonders that the written word can offer.

I'd like the opportunity to be a tutor for ESL. I have scored well and certified in the English, Vocabulary and Reading portions required by this website. Last semester I studied with Professor Hannen in Foundations of Literacy Instruction. I have utilized many of the tools and techniques taught to me by Professor Hannen and by the teachers whose classes I observed. Although I have no formal training in ESL, I have learned Russian and French in high school, I have worked with my two nephews who are currently home schooled and in my spare time I have studied independently Swedish, some Spanish and German. I understand the frustration of learning a complex language. I have a multitude of ideas and resources available to me by the internet, teachers and educational stores to assist me in my lessons.
