Hello my name is April, I am a private tutor and part time classroom instructor with experience teaching PreK-12th grade students. As a Buffalo State College graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Art Education and a minor in psychology, it is my job to incorporate Art Therapy into the lessons that I teach. Art therapy methods and strategies are both healthy and rewarding for many students. I would like to help students who are interested in advancing their current skills, develop new skills and help students gain a better understanding of art itself. I'd also like to help students begin their search and love for art even if they're not there yet. Whatever it may be, I would be honored to help.
I would like to add that I have a variety of experience in substitute teaching in a variety of schools and grade levels, along with students who have disabilities. I have also taught art through summer camp programs and preschool programs.
