I’m a nursing student at the University at Buffalo with a strong foundation in psychology, mathematics, and the sciences. I graduated summa cum laude with highest honors in psychology (GPA: 3.755) and am currently completing my BS in Nursing with a 3.8 GPA. My academic strengths and mentoring experience have allowed me to help students not only improve their grades, but gain confidence in subjects they once found intimidating.
I’ve tutored in Precalculus, Algebra, and Trigonometry through the university’s Educational Opportunity Program, where I worked with students from diverse backgrounds and adapted lessons to their learning styles. I also served as a Teaching Assistant for Biopsychology, helping over 90 students better understand complex neuroscience concepts and develop lasting study strategies. I have also tutored in English in the past.
My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and engaging. I start by identifying each student’s baseline skills and goals, then build personalized study plans that reinforce both understanding and motivation. Whether you’re preparing for exams, trying to raise your GPA, or just need a subject broken down in plain language, I’m here to help you feel supported and empowered. I specialize in working with high school, college, and adult learners — and I’m passionate about making learning feel fun, manageable and rewarding.
