Hello! I’m Madison, a graduate-level Pharmacy student pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science at D’Youville University. I’ve always enjoyed learning and believe that when complex material is communicated clearly, anyone can succeed and even enjoy the process of learning.
Academically, I have consistently performed at a high level, earning Dean’s List recognition throughout my undergraduate studies and currently ranking in the top 20% of my pharmacy cohort. I also serve as an executive member of my university’s APhA and ASHP chapters.
As I near the completion of my doctorate and continue on clinical rotations, I have built strong expertise in advanced coursework including pharmacotherapeutics, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacy calculations. During my undergraduate studies, I maintained a 4.0 GPA while completing rigorous courses in chemistry, algebra, and writing. I am also currently completing coursework to achieve a teaching certificate to further strengthen my instructional skills.
Alongside my academic training, I have extensive experience as a peer and undergraduate tutor. I specialize in pharmacy-related subjects (including NAPLEX preparation), as well as general STEM and academic support such as general chemistry, algebra I & II, pre-calculus, and English writing and literature.
My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps that build both understanding and confidence. I take pride in helping students not just improve their grades, but also develop long-term study skills. On average, my students have seen a measurable improvement in test performance.
I believe that with consistency, patience, and the right approach, meaningful improvement is achievable for every student. I also prioritize clear communication with students and parents to ensure progress and goals are always aligned.
