Monique holds a Master's degree in Childhood Mathematics Education from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach for literacy instruction. She delights in seeing students overcome challenges and improve academically as a result of encouragement and explicit instruction.
Math is my favorite subject. I have a deep understanding of it and enjoy helping students grasp the concepts instead of just following steps.
