I earned my BA at Sarah Lawrence College with coursework ranging from computer science to physics to linguistics: an all-around education which prepared me to tutor all sections of Math, Reading, English, and Science. As a high school student, I earned my IB Diploma with exemplary performance. I scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and achieved perfect scores on the AP Calculus AB and IB Spanish SL exams.
I love establishing an easy-going rapport with my students so that they feel comfortable enough to discuss their academic struggles and learn from their mistakes. In fact, mistakes are the key to improvement: every missed question is an opportunity to learn a new concept, strategy, or tip that will help you nail that question type when you encounter it again. My tutoring approach helps students "fill in the gaps" to gain an all-around understanding of the test and approach any new question with confidence.
