My advanced study in music performance, history, theory, and ear training make me an excellent mentor to students of all levels from beginner to advanced. As a private tutor and public school educator with over ten years of experience, my most advanced high school graduates have gone on to major in music at Stanford University, the University of California, Santa Barbara, and California State University, Long Beach; passing a rigorous audition process for which I extensively prepared them.

Through my studies in the Philosophy department at the University of California, Los Angeles, I gained the requisite skills to read, write, and proofread at a graduate level; excelling at subjects such as logic, rhetoric/persuasion/debate, computational thinking, mathematics, and scientific epistemology.

As the son of immigrants working in the fields of medicine, education, defense, and international relations, I believe in accessibility for students of any cultural, religious, or socioeconomic background, including students with special needs and disabilities.

In the spirit of Carl Sagan, I invite you to come with me on a learning journey.
