I am passionate about history, teaching history, students, and teaching students of all ages. I enjoy teaching history to anyone interested in learning it for sheer pleasure and the concerned young person who is anxious about an approaching test. I demonstrate a genuine interest in and concern for students and convey a love of history in the school setting. I create a respectful and harmonious environment. Clarity is tantamount to understanding. I am clear about the knowledge I wish to transfer to my students in each lesson and over time. I am clear about the concepts I want my students to comprehend and how I want them to acquire that information. I possess integrity, and I am dependable; I am very aware of the attention needed for historical reading documents and analyzing primary sources.

I have two Master's Degrees in Education, one in Special Education with a minor in History and one in Early Childhood Education with a minor in History, which qualified me for teaching Comparative Religion. I spent many years teaching this subject for the New York City Department of Education to students who need to take the state examination to earn a High School Diploma.

I am patient and approachable. I have worked diligently to gain patience for addressing my student's needs. I have strong communication skills in conjunction with solid knowledge and a solid education. I am a well-disciplined instructor.

I am an outstanding history teacher because I am passionate about history and enjoy teaching the subject immensely. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I know the past, and I am a lifelong learner. I search for new research and resources to enliven the classroom or tutoring sessions.
