Hi! I'm Ciara, a college art and art portfolio tutor. I earned a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and studied for a Master of Architecture at Yale University. I love using my academic, art, and design experience to help my students improve their artistic skills and preparing their portfolios. I enjoy teaching students ages 8+ and I specialize in helping middle and high school art students apply to specialized art colleges. My students enjoy fun, but challenging personalized lessons. With me, they craft new artworks, sketchbooks, and essays for IB Visual Arts Programs, high school, and college applications. I ensure that lessons are tailored to my student's interests: my classes are always specific to your student's unique personality and learning style.
At all levels, I can help your student to improve their abilities and artistic confidence. Art-making is a challenging and emotionally rewarding way to "think with your hands."
