I am an experienced and outstanding musician who has mastered the art of performing and teaching many different music styles such as rock, fusion, jazz, latin jazz, Brazilian, Afro-venezuelan, Afro-cuban, and world music, making me an in-demand drummer in the New York Jazz, Latin Jazz, and world music scene. Through giving private lessons for the past 18 years in my own studio, I have developed many skills and methods to teach music in ways that are creative, motivational, dynamic, fun, and tailored to each student’s particular needs. This instills an understanding of music in each student, both as soloist and as part of an ensemble.
