I started my art journey 30 years ago, first in a private art school one of the first art school in Ne York, this school was mostly dedicated to classical art. There I learn the basic elements of art, anatomy, composition, color, etc.
Later on, I went to Pratt Institute where I got my BFA and MFA. Since there I had worked as an artist and artist educator in many different public and private schools in New York City.
I'm an active artist, which means, I make my art every day, I draw and paint daily. I love read biographies of artist to really understand their journey as an artist and as individuals. I'm interested in the current art movement of 21 century to relate it to past art history.
I'm dedicated half of my life to the arts, and I believe in the power of art, not only as a utilitarian practice but as something that helps humanity to understand life at a higher level.
