Besides studying photography, I also was a Philosophy major, thus I always try to have an open mind and find creative solutions to problems. I have plenty of experience teaching , both working with groups and one on one. The majority of my teaching/training experience has been in a professional environment. I was responsible for training all of the assistants of Steven Klein even after they had graduated with degrees in photography. I enjoyed seeing what I can teach advanced students and figuring out what parts of real life experience was not covered in the classroom.

In the one on one approach of tutoring each student is in a unique position and gets a tailored experience to fit their situation. In addition to teaching photography and camera concepts, I also teach an advanced lighting technique intensive workshop.

Initially I took two years of basic photography and darkroom classes in school. I showed a lot of promise had perfect grades and my work was displayed at the school. But most of my knowledge comes from experience. I was fortunate enough to learn from real life masters and respected professionals from the field. And then continue to learn from my own shoots, experimenting and developing more non conventional lighting techniques for example.

I believe the learning/teaching experience one that is as exciting and fun as we make it provided that we are enthusiastic about it.
