Absolutely love Lily. I’m 25 and learning my first instrument and Lily is so good at providing both base violin and musical knowledge. And each lesson ends with an assignment I can focus on for the week so I’m not lost or aimless between sessions. She’s so encouraging, there is absolutely no stress or frustration for me when I mess up because she knows exactly how to fix what I’m doing wrong and is very gentle to correct. Also, one my first assignments is Lord of the Rings based, so she absolutely knows what I like and bases my homework off that to keep me engaged. I love her energy. I always can’t wait until my next lesson!

Patient, kind, and knowledgeable teacher
Lily is amazing! When I started taking testosterone as part of my non-binary transition a couple of years ago, my voice changed pretty rapidly and became a largely unfamiliar instrument. I found Lily after seeking out voice lessons to help me relearn how to use my voice, specifically my middle range which has a lot of breaks, which has been difficult for me. Over our past few lessons, she has given me encouragement, exercises, and challenges to help me relearn how to use my voice. I'm noticing progress and am no longer feeling defeated in my capabilities. I am so grateful and I recommend her to anyone.

Skilled and Patient Violin Tutor
I recently had my first lesson with Lily, and I can’t wait for me next one! She is such a talented instructor, so knowledgeable about what beginner violin students need to know. I am an adult learner with very little musical experience, and Lily was so patient. Just learning to hold the bow and the violin is challenging, and It feels awkward at first, but Lily helped me feel confident that I can do it. I highly recommend Lily if you are looking for someone patient, kind, and skilled. Looking forward to many future lessons!
