My teaching approach, of course, is not the only approach. Every suggestion that I make is my opinion and has worked best for me. I am completely open to teaching styles catered to the student's needs as everyone is different. I will do my best to be coherent and articulate in my teachings to ensure the content is as comprehensible as possible. Looking forward to working with you!
At an early age, I memorized all the countries on the map and basic/fundamental facts about the Geographic regions on the globe. Through high school, I passed Advanced Placement classes such as Human Geography, World History, American History, and U.S. Government and Politics. Looking forward to helping out!
I have been working as a music student for eight years and an educator for eight years. I am a former student of the Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts) before moving to New York to study Jazz and Contemporary Music at The New School. I have a thorough knowledge of Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm, Professional Development in the music industry, music technology, and sight-reading. I have worked as a professional musician for the past 12 years (national tours, composition/recording experience, etc.) Hopefully, I can pass down the wisdom I've received from my mentors to my future students.
