Hello! I'm Rebecca. I graduated with honors from Yale University in 2016 with a B.A. in Theatre Studies. I studied writing and literature extensively at Yale, with a particular focus on personal essay writing and creative nonfiction. I received the prestigious Branford Class of 1960 fellowship to conduct research in England for my senior thesis essay, as well as the highly competitive Louis Sudler Prize for Excellence in the Performing Arts.

I have more than five years of experience as an educator, academic tutor, and college counselor. I tutor a range of subjects, from SAT/ACT prep to English language to theater and performance. I do not take a "one size fits all" approach to tutoring--I believe that students make the most progress when their teacher takes their needs into consideration. This highly individualized approach means that my SAT/ACT students' scores improve an average of 200 points or more. I also specialize in college applications and can support you in all of your application needs from building a college list to perfecting your application essays.
