Clarinetist Geraldine O. from Bogotá Colombia begun her music studies at age of five with vocal training, at age of sixteen the clarinet became the focal point on her adolescence. Miss O. holds a Bachelor Degree in Music Performance from Longy School of Music of Bard College.

During her time at Longy, Geraldine was awarded with a coveted teaching assistantship in the prestigious El Sistema Side by Side program, since then, Geraldine served as a teacher and mentor in this program. Geraldine has also knowledge in Saxophone. Fluent in Spanish and English Geraldine’s languages skills have significantly contributed to her teaching success.
Geraldine is also an active chamber musician player since 2014. She has performed with various folk Latin groups and orchestras in the Boston area.
