As a professional I’ve toured, performed and recorded on six continents with Jazz groups like Jimmie Heath Big Band, David Murray, Richie Cole, and Thilo Wolf Big Band. Musicals Fame and Evita and Dreamgirls. Pop, Salsa and Carribean and Reggae acts. I was the Musical director for Cirque du Soleil as well.
I teach technique, range, music theory, jazz improv, and basic information related to being a musician. I teach all levels and ages, and focus on defining areas that need improvement while accentuating your strengths. I treat each student as an individual who has their own unique needs to progress.
I have patience to teach, and strive to bring out the potential in each and every student. I’m passionate about music, and with 40 years experience playing and studying, am excited to share my knowledge with you.
