I have been teaching the SAT for the past ten years and been teaching high school and college mathematics for the past seven years. While many tutors just answer questions and solve sample problems for students, I teach and help students develop a strategic problem-solving skill set, one which would guarantee not only a very high SAT score in math, but also admission to the best colleges/universities in the country. I am a professional instructor who helps students master problem solving techniques by emphasizing on the student’s unique individual learning needs. Many parents come to me after trying out other classes or tutors and not seeing the results they want. Then, within the first session, I can assess and formalize a plan that targets student weaknesses and serves as an ultimate learning platform. I only bill for time spent in sessions. I do not bill for the many hours I spend outside of session. I create individualized curriculum, carefully track their progress and strengths/weaknesses, suggest the best materials, create study schedules and timetables for testing and retesting, work on pacing and test strategy, and so much more.
