Thanks for stopping by! Over the past two decades, I've developed a successful track record helping adults, teens and pre-teens demystify math, data analysis and critical reasoning exercises to tackle exams such as the SHSAT, ACT, SAT, MAT and GRE as well as math from pre-algebra to pre-calculus, probability and business statistics. With adults, I also provide coaching for college-level finance and accounting courses, and consulting recruitment exams such as McKinsey's Problem Solving Test. Individual coaching aside, I've also accumulated years of experience as a business school University Lecturer in Warsaw, Poland and New York City.

Formerly trained as an SAT classroom instructor following the completion of my mathematics degree at Carnegie Mellon University, I put my students at ease by making math practical and fun. I've got a knack at helping students build confidence and conquer the fear and anxiety that often comes with studying math and preparing for aptitude tests. The results of my students demonstrate my effectiveness. I've helped high school students regularly improve their ACT composite scores by 5 points (out of 36) and adults applying to top business schools jump 150 points (out of 800) on the GMAT.

My personal track record includes scoring in the 99th %ile on most K-12 standardized math tests, studying mathematics at one of the most competitive science and technology universities in the country, and scoring in the 98th percentile GMAT score (700+). I'm eager to demonstrate how I can help you succeed. Don't hesitate to contact me to set up a free consult!

Great Tutor. Works around your needs.

Ken was a great tutor. I found out about the details of the program I was applying to just two months before the deadline. After spending the first month doing self-study and finding out that it wasn't enough, I turned to tutoring with just 3 weeks before my exam. Ken was great to work with and though he would have liked more sessions between when we started and when the exam happened, he worked with what I had available and got me on the right track and helped me figure out the trickier parts of the test. With his help, I jumped 60 points in those 3 weeks after having watched my score level out before that. Thank you Ken!

Extremely knowledgeable and patient tutor

Our son experienced pretty substantial struggles with some of the more recent lessons in his Algebra 2 class. In one session, Ken diagnosed the skills my son needed to improve upon (including recognition of which skills to apply and how and when to apply them) and provided him with some spot on exercises in order to help him practice his skills. Perhaps most importantly, he helped our son regain his confidence that he could handle the material. Excellent tutor! Highly recommended.

Ken is knowledgeable, prepared for every lesson, proactive in getting the right material, identifying what my son needs to learn, he also inspires my son to do the homework that Ken assigns him.

Ken is a 5 star tutor!

Ken worked with my son to study Algebra 2. He helped my son to better understand factoring and rational expressions. Ken offered good practice problems and made sure my son understood the material at the end of the session. We surely recommend Ken as a tutor.

Knowledgeable teacher

Ken is working with my sixth grader and she is very, very happy with him. At first session, Ken assessed her to know exactly where she needed help. She likes that he is very patient and takes the time to make sure she understands whatever they are working on. We are looking forward to more lessons with Ken!
