I teach skills necessary for efficient time management and smart test taking and, in my experience, this provides the highest boost to many students' exam scores. I have also taught analytical reading and writing skills to college students at the University of Michigan, where I received my PhD. This teaching experience prepared me well for tutoring reading and writing skills for SAT preparation.

My happiest times as a tutor have been while helping a few reluctant young readers to fall in love with reading and creative writing.
