I enjoy taking an approach that empowers our relationships with the English language and encourages students to view what they do not know or understand as a healthy challenge to build a deeper relationship with how we communicate.
If you can feel and think it, we can get you writing it as well.
I have worked with my own students and students from different programs in one-on-one, small group, and group lesson formats. I have formally taught both university-level, freshman English and creative writing for upperclassmen. I have created lessons on reading comprehension, writing, literature, spelling, proofreading, essay writing, etc. I have kept office hours and held scheduled, formal and informal office hours.
I want students to feel comfortable setting goals and allowing me to help them achieve those goals.
I hope to be a resource for your English/writing needs and look forward to responding promptly to any questions or suggestions. Please do reach out to learn more or schedule a lesson with me today!
