Hello! I am a graduate of New York University (NYU) with over three years of experience teaching Mandarin Chinese in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with more than 200 students and provided over 5,000 hours of instruction, helping learners from complete beginners to advanced students achieve their language goals.

I specialize in Mandarin Chinese instruction, including beginner Chinese, conversational Chinese, HSK preparation, AP Chinese, business Chinese, and Chinese for high school and college students. My teaching experience includes working with students of different ages and backgrounds, from young learners building their foundations to adults and professionals seeking to improve their communication skills.

My teaching philosophy is centered around structured learning and clear explanations. As a Mathematics and Economics graduate, I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into smaller, manageable steps. I use a logical and personalized approach to help students understand not only what to say, but why the language works the way it does. Through guided practice, targeted questions, and real-world examples, I help students develop confidence and the ability to use Chinese independently.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons based on each student's goals, current level, and learning style. Whether you are preparing for an exam, improving your conversational skills, studying Chinese for school, or starting from zero, I will create a structured learning plan to help you make consistent progress.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy coding and gaming, which help me stay connected with students who share similar interests and allow me to create a relaxed and engaging learning environment.
