My name is Ralitsa and I truly love the subject of English. I have attended private school, two years of homeschool, and 2 years of college for my education career, as of now. St Francis College accepted me with a 3/4 scholarship, and my major is 'Adolescence English Teaching'. I am currently a Campus Director for a Community Center that serves Grades K-Older Adults, with a primary focus on elementary and middle school programming. I worked up from a Literacy Activity Specialist to an Assistant Director, to my current role of being a Campus Director.
English is a complex language and there are so many ways to write. This can cause the language to be difficult to learn, but also make the language beautiful, in my opinion. If you're like me and aren't very creative with your hands, writing is another way to express creativity. Knowing how to properly write and speak is important because that is how we all communicate with each other. I always make sure the student is comfortable with me, because I am not their school teacher, but someone who is here to gladly help them with a valuable subject, such as English.
I have always been blessed to have done well with Math and through a tutoring program I take, I am knowledgable on how to teach math according to common core standards. I have tutored math and helped with math homework a numerous amount of times and feel very comfortable with tutoring Math.
I have helped various students with their homework, read to the younger children, and assisted the teachers in any way I could. I have also helped more than one student with college essays for admittance into college, and I was told their teachers were impressed with their essay structure and content. I have helped students with proof-reading and grammar structure more times than I can count. Public Speaking has always been something that has come naturally to me, which is a great skill to have, and I am blessed to have it.

In High School, while doing community service, I helped elementary-middle school students with various lessons in English, history, math, and science. I have always gotten high grades in vocabulary and that helped factor me into advanced reading classes between fourth-eighth grade. Standardized test grades for reading have always being above average for me. Throughout High school, I was in honors English classes and then progressed to AP Literature and AP English. Both, my ACT and SAT grades, were above average. My major in college is Adolescent English Teaching.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

I can honestly say that my daughter has become more confident with sounding words out and the letters. My daughter is in kindergarten and she struggled with identifying the sounds of letters. Since Ralitsa has been tutoring her she has grasped so much from the sessions. Ralitsa is very patient and attentive with my child. She also give review materials as well as homework so you can work with your child consistency is key of learning and Ralitsa shows that with her teaching style. She also go over math with her as well it's just a really well rounded session. If you want a tutor for your child Ralitsa is awesome. Highly recommended!!!

A+ Tutor

She tutored my 7th grade daughter for her ELA state exam. She helped her with structure on how to write short responses and extended responses. For the multiple choice section she taught her how to find the best answer. She also provided notes to go over and they were very helpful. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again in the near future.

Patient and very helpful.

She helped my daughter do fractions and was very patient and taught her a new way to do them. She also stayed a little later to make sure she understood the questions. Very good tutor.
