Great College Physics tutor!
After getting a crushing low exam grade on my first test Elena took the time with me to work on homework and exam preparation. Saw my grade go from a low C to a high B and I'm confident if I had one more exam in that class I would have easily gotten an A with her help! She not only went over the physics but the actual algebra and trigonometry behind it all so I could understand the problems using what I already know. Will definitely use again when I take Physics 2!

I highly recommend Elena as a tutor. She worked with my son during his semester of college physics (calculus-based). Elena successfully helped my son feel in command of the material. Her effective tutoring not only helped him excel but also boosted his confidence in the subject. In a course where a (curved) 51% scored an A, my son scored 95%. He was so good that he himself was designated the tutor for other students needing help. This was exactly my goal for my son's tutoring sessions with Elena—to master the material with confidence. Elena was reliable and consistent, never missing a scheduled weekly session. There are so many students who turn away from a STEM degree because of their discomfort with courses like physics. My son's career path is his own to decide, but if he turns away from STEM, I wanted it to be based on his interests, not because of difficulty with the material. Elena helped accomplish that.
