I try to forge a deep understanding of my students' thinking. For me the most important lesson learned from taking a standardized test is becoming more aware about your own thinking. I'll help you get the most out of your strengths as a test-taker, and develop a better understanding of your own cognitive patterns and habits at the same time. I try to forge a deep understanding of my students' thinking. For me the most important lesson learned from taking a standardized test is becoming more aware about your own thinking. I'll help you get the most out of your strengths as a test-taker, and develop a better understanding of your own cognitive patterns and habits at the same time. I also have a healthy respect for the amount of pressure that test-taking places on students' shoulders. As such, I do my best to make my sessions as engaging as possible, and only assign homework that is absolutely necessary to reinforce in-session learning. No busy work allowed.

I have taught and tutoring the SAT and ACT for over fifteen years. I worked as a teacher and tutor for the Princeton Review, tutored Latin and Math at the Trinity Middle School, and developed and taught an SAT class at Groundwork for Success (an after-school program) in East New York. I also work with middle-school aged students preparing for the Specialized High School Exam in NYC, and the SSAT/ISEE.

I have general availability for tutoring during weekdays from 10AM-9PM. I look forward to helping you close in on your academic goals!
