Daphne tutors my son, who is 11, in Latin twice a week. He started with some foundation as the school he attended before our transfer to PA began introducing the subject in 3rd grade. He always just seemed to drudge through it and did ok but since we have found Daphne he looks forward to his lessons and her approach is such that he is absorbing far more information than he was in the classroom. She is patient and encouraging and goes the extra distance to post assignments and screen shots of what they did during that day's lesson so that I can print them out for both review and records. I always ask my son for his feedback and he says," She's really, really good! I actually understand more about the language, I'm not just memorizing words and charts." She has just been phenomenal!

Extremely effective and fun tutor
My twins are in Latin 3 in high school. Daphne has been helping them translate the Aeneid. She reviews the various grammatical concepts that they encounter in the text. She has been invaluable in helping them make the difficult transition from textbook Latin to authentic Latin. They thoroughly enjoy working with Daphne, and with her help they gain a genuine sense of accomplishment. She is an excellent teacher! We feel very lucking to have found her.

Daphne is tutoring our daughter in Latin III. Daphne has been very encouraging and easily built a nice rapport with our daughter. In just a few sessions, our daughter is having an easier time with translations and has found Daphne's knowledge, explanations, suggestions and instruction very helpful. She is feeling more confident and less discouraged about Latin in general. We would highly recommend Daphne!
