In high school Rachel received 4s and 5s in AP U.S History, AP Biology, AP English, and AP Calculus. She graduated top 10 in her class.

Rachel has also spent time abroad living/learning in France, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, England, and in Costa Rica.
When not teaching, Rachel works as a director, actor, writer and and composer for theatre and film. She also designs artist websites, and loves to swim. She was a competitive swimmer for 13 years and was top in the state in long distance and medley strokes. She loves spending time with her partner, cats, playing music, and strolling out in the parks of Brooklyn.
