I have always had a passion for language and travel. I grew up in New York City and early on discovered my love of foreign cultures, especially through my time spent in France. I have lived in Paris and the south of France for over seven years. I studied in France for both high school and a part of university. Travel informed my way of viewing the world and how I see myself in relation to it. I have taught English as a Second Language to adults and children alike in France and am a substitute French teacher in the public schools in New York. I love sharing my love of the French language and helping people achieve their personal language goals.
I'm currently working on my Master of Education Bilingual Education ( English/French) at Hunter College and look forward to teaching full-time in a school. I have an open friendly approach to teaching and am always available for questions after a session if needed. I benefitted from having very personalized teaching when I was in school and I think that's why I love teaching and tutoring as much as I do. I look forward to meeting you and helping you through your journey to bilingualism.
I listen to your needs, I am communicative, patient and have a sense of humor. I hold a BA in French and am pursuing my Master of Education. And as I mentioned, I have 7+ years experience of living in studying in France.
