Hi parents! My name is Dina. I received my MBA from NYU and I graduated from Wagner College with my BA in sociology, minoring in psychology. I've been tutoring for over 7 years currently and continue to keep tutoring because of how much I adore working with my students, helping them achieve their academic goals, while also being able to challenge them as needed on a personalized level.

Teaching students is one of my passions in life and I've continued to tutor throughout my higher education as well as after. I accommodate each and every student's learning style to my lessons and will help him/her with positive, patient enforcement through encouragement and rewards/prizes to make sure my students are happy at all times. Every student is different, so my approach to each academic problem is also different. I bring enthusiasm and fun to every lesson. I am a patient and organized tutor as well. It doesn't matter if we need to do a problem 3-4 different ways to achieve understanding, I am happy to do so! Over the last 7+ years, I have taught school subjects from K-6th grade. I have experience in science, reading, writing, social, studies, math, etc. No matter the subject I teach or tutor, I believe it's important to understand each students' learning style and use that to enhance learning. As a tutor, I will do the same. I would want to make this tutoring experience a valuable experience for both myself and the student. By understanding how the student learns, it allows this to happen. I would also be prepared to help the student with homework and study for tests, as well.
