I am a highly capable senior level development professional who has worked for several non profit educational, social and cultural institutions in New York City, and beyond. My work has mostly focused on working with students and faculty across disciplines on a wide variety of programs. I am an excellent writer and communicator and have tutored many times in the past. I have counseled numerous middle and high school students with regard to choosing colleges that are appropriate for them, creating written statements, and interview techniques. I have worked one-on one-with students preparing for reading comprehension tests and have helped them to write essays for English and history classes. Most of all, I am successful in establishing positive rapports with students . I consider this my signature achievement.
As i mentioned, my greatest strength is my ability to engage people at all levels and in all walks of life. If a student is to benefit from my expertise, the chemistry has to be right to foster a high level of engagement and academic success. I have a decade of solid experience doing just that.

I love history, live it every day and am an avid reader of political science and historical literature. I also have a particulate interest in oral history and have worked on many projects which have involved interviewing prominent figures and documenting these interviews through social media and the printed word.
