Jacqueline is great! After just two lessons, I already see much better progress for my ten-year-old son, when compared to other methods we've tried. She tailors each lesson to his specific needs, so he doesn't get bored and is able to fill in the unique gaps he has in his reading and writing faster. I realized that even though I read to him frequently and have tried many methods, I don't have quite the same background/skill set (or dynamic) to target things exactly like she can (and I know at school, it's just impossible for his teachers to construct each lesson specifically for him). This makes her lessons especially valuable and constructive. Additionally, I appreciate that she is patient, even though my son can be a little bit difficult and unfocused. She carries on and is easily able to get him back on track. Would certainly recommend.

Very professional tutor

Since I started English classes with Jacqueline, as a foreigner and adult student, I realized she is just the right tutor for me. She is very professional at her job. She starts every class with a review of the previous lesson. Then we work together to improve my fluency in English, as well as my pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. During the last part of the lesson, we read newspaper articles to become familiarized with media language. I'm very happy and satisfied working with her. I definitely recommend her as an ESOL teacher.

Extremely knowledgeable and patient

Jacqueline taught my son Ethan to treat the reading as a dialogue not a monologue. She had him read a few pages of The Death of John F. Kennedy out loud. In that hour Ethan was able to write 3 pages about the book. He used the suggested dialogue reading approach, restating, reacting and quoting. Ethan felt very comfortable with her teaching and felt as proud of himself as I did for him. We will definitely schedule more tutoring sessions with Jacqueline.

Amazing Teacher!

My brother has been receiving tutoring from Jacqueline for about two weeks. We have already seen much improvement in his grammar, spelling and reading. The family is very proud of his accomplishments he has made in a matter of short time. He now reads on his own, and everything he sees or notices he will try his best to sound it out. By me saying all of this my brother is in his 30s. Adult literacy is real and many people suffer from this in going situation in their daily lives. Jacqueline has done an amazing job so far with my brother, and I recommend her anyone facing this problem.

So today was an amazing day, today was lesson number 6 and my baby boy read an entire book 60+ pages on his own. I already see result. We first started with him having a difficult time with the alphabets and now he’s reading. I can’t wait for him to be ahead of everyone else in his class once school start. We are so grateful for ms jaqueline and her patience with my boy.
