Hi! I am a Software Developer with years of experience teaching and tutoring. I work as a Senior Blockchain Engineer at Offchain Labs. Previously, I worked as a co-founder and CTO for Abacus, where I did consultation, and technical implantation for projects in the Blockchain tech space. Prior, I also worked at various start-ups as a web developer. I have a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Math and Philosophy.

For years, I've taught in many different contexts, including as lead instructor for General Assembly's Engineering Immersive course. I've always loved teaching, and I'm willing to humbly aver that I've gotten pretty good at it. I love the challenge of articulating difficult concepts in clear language and of pinpointing and untangling other's conceptual misunderstandings. These qualities make me both highly effective as a tutor and probably kind of insufferable at parties.

Specialties:

Blockchain Tech:
Curious about the world of Web3, but can't seem to make sense of it? Look no further! I have ample experience directly in the industry, including Soldity, protocol design, technical evaluation, and writing.

Computer Programming:
Programming is a lot of fun; it's about solving puzzles and building cool things; I try to get my students to see this. I've taught students in college level Comp-Sci courses, Bootcamps, and independent learners. I've taught Solidity, JS/TS, Python, React, and more.

Mathematics:
Once a Math geek, always a Math geek. I tend to focus on College/ Late High School level subjects, like Calculus, and Logic, though I also tutor younger students.

Test Prep:
I've worked for several test-prep companies and have ample experience prepping students for various exams, particularly the SAT.

Writing:
Did I mention I also write? Well I do - you can see my writing on cryptocurrency & blockchain tech; my work has been at sites the Block.. I've taught creative writing, literature, and standard expository essays.
Drop me a line!

Reads my mind and knows what what to explain

Daniel always know what to explain and when to explain as you go about your lesson with him. And even if you do something stupid he copes with it and explains it very patiently in a way you would understand.

Good start

Daniel helped my son review a chapter on geometry for a test the next day and he ended up getting a B, an improvement over his past few grades. He was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable about the subject.
