College & High School Math Tutor - Thorough Approach

Ever since I was in high school, I developed a strong passion for mathematics and for math education.
I tutored my peers in math in high school and in college as well.
After being dissatisfied with what college math education had to offer, I pursued an independent approach to learning math. I studied privately with highly skilled and knowledgeable tutors and math professors. I realized how much more I got out of private tutoring with a good teacher than I got out of a college lecture. I know firsthand what students experience in college:

- No individualized attention to them and their needs in learning and understanding the material

- Very general lectures, that leave a student without a thorough and detailed understanding of the topics covered

-Students have to learn and understand the material on their own

This can leave even the best students at a disadvantage.

What I have to offer:

Whenever I tutor math, first of all, I teach only the subjects that I know thoroughly well.

I then apply my thorough and detail-oriented approach to the student. I never introduce any gimmicks and I make sure you understand the material inside out. At the same time, I always take your abilities into consideration.
I work from where you are now, correct and develop your understanding and knowledge of the material, and then work to develop you further to where you want to get to in math. I am an experienced tutor, and have a very well developed intuition as to what you need to learn and how you need to learn it. I am always glad to receive your tutoring requests.
