Hello and welcome! My mission is to break down complex science concepts into clear, engaging insights. I hold an M.Phil in Biotechnology (3.87 CGPA) and a Bachelor’s in Applied Biosciences. My background spans molecular biology, genetics, and clinical diagnostics. I specialize in middle school, high school, and introductory college tutoring, with a specific focus on comprehensive AP Biology preparation. My teaching journey began as an academic peer mentor, conducting interactive one-on-one sessions and leading group study sessions to help classmates master biological frameworks and prepare for exams.
My approach focuses on building confidence and making biology digestible. I share my highly organized notes so you can quickly grasp the core points of any lesson. In our sessions, we start by finding what you already know; most students actually understand 50% to 70% of a topic and just need help bridging specific gaps! I draw out complex pathways step by step, then invite you to explain or draw them back to me to ensure true mastery. I also help students craft the exact, targeted questions they need to ask in their regular classrooms when they are struggling.
Beyond peer mentoring, my experience includes dedicated in-person tutoring and community education, where I designed interactive lessons for the Agosh Orphanage and the Saya Trust School. I also bring practical insight from a hospital internship focused on blood banking, automated metabolic panels, and clinical tissue sampling.
