I am a professional saxophonist, pianist, composer, and music educator based in New York City. I hold a Master’s degree in Jazz Studies from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music from The New School.
I have several years of experience teaching music to children, teenagers, and adults in both one-on-one lessons and group/classroom settings. I have taught saxophone, piano, jazz improvisation, music theory, ear training, composition, and general music education, working with students at a variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to more advanced musicians.
My teaching approach is supportive, engaging, and personalized to each student’s individual goals and learning style. I focus on building strong musical foundations while encouraging creativity, improvisation, self-expression, and confidence. I believe that learning music should be both challenging and enjoyable, and I aim to create a welcoming environment where every student feels comfortable exploring their own musical voice.
