Highly Recommended Math Tutor
Christine has been working with my 15-year-old son on math and we are very happy we found her. She is patient and explains things very clearly, but what I appreciate most is that she wants him to really understand the concepts, rather than just memorize how to solve a problem. She quickly understood his level and adapts the lessons depending on what he already knows and what needs more time. My son feels comfortable working with her and, most importantly, he follows her explanations well and enjoys the lessons. After just the first few lessons, we already felt that we would like to continue working with Christine in the long term, with the goal of building a really solid foundation in math and hopefully progressing, over time, to AP Calculus AB level or even beyond!

Christine is calm, patient, and knowledgeable, which is very helpful with a difficult subject like Calc BC. Since she was a teacher before, she has reference material and an idea how to teach high schoolers. She provides examples as she teaches. She also very much enjoys the subject, which comes through as she talks through topics.
