Hi, my name is David, and I currently work in accounting, tax, financial consulting, and business advisory services through my firm, DWB Accounting & Advisory LLC, while completing my studies at Brooklyn College as a double major in Public Accounting and Business Management & Finance. I previously earned my associate’s degree and have completed over 130 college credits while continuing to work toward my long-term CPA goals.

Over the years, I have worked with individuals, entrepreneurs, startups, nonprofits, and small businesses on a wide range of accounting and financial matters including bookkeeping, financial reporting, QuickBooks, payroll, tax preparation, compliance projects, business structuring, financial analysis, and operational planning. My experience extends beyond standard tax preparation and includes real-world advisory work involving audit responses, tax notices, financial statement preparation, business organization, retirement and cash flow discussions, reconciliation projects, and helping clients better understand complex financial situations.

I have also worked alongside tax offices, franchise groups, consultants, and advisory teams on both individual and business engagements. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain accounting and business concepts in a practical, understandable, and relatable way. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying concepts, building confidence, and helping students understand the “why” behind what they are learning instead of simply memorizing information.
