I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master’s degree in Communication, which have strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, communicate effectively, and support students in building strong academic skills. I am also planning to return to school in the fall to continue expanding my expertise in education.
I currently teach 4th grade at Uncommon where I work daily with students to build foundational skills in math, reading, writing, and critical thinking. My classroom experience has given me extensive practice working with diverse learners, including students who need extra support, structured guidance, or enrichment beyond grade-level expectations.
In addition to classroom instruction, I provide individualized academic support to help students strengthen specific skill gaps, improve confidence, and perform better on assignments and assessments. I focus on breaking down concepts into clear, manageable steps and adapting my teaching approach to match each student’s learning style.
My experience includes both whole-class instruction and one-on-one support, allowing me to understand how students learn in different environments and how to meet them where they are academically. I have worked with elementary-aged students primarily, helping them develop strong foundations that support long-term academic success.
My goal as a tutor is not just to help students complete work, but to help them truly understand the material and feel more confident in their abilities. I believe students succeed when they feel supported, challenged appropriately, and encouraged consistently.
