I’m a multilingual language educator with experience teaching Spanish, Russian, and basic French. I hold an M.A. in Spanish Education and an M.A. in Comparative Literature, where I completed advanced coursework in French and Russian literature. I am also a New York State–certified Spanish teacher (7–12).
Russian is my native language, and I worked as Russian-English interpreter for more than a decade. I have taught college-level Russian courses for both beginners and heritage speakers at CUNY John Jay College. I have also taught Spanish in NYC public schools, including three years in middle school and my current role at the high-school level.
In my instruction, I focus on building real communication skills, strengthening grammar and vocabulary, and helping students feel confident using the language in meaningful ways. In French, I can help beginners who need a strong foundation in pronunciation, grammar, and essential vocabulary. I tailor every lesson to each student’s goals and learning style.
